4 Gold Medals at WSWA Tasting

Vina Casa Tamaya was the big winner with two gold medals for its 2009 Chardonnay and 2008 Syrah Estate Reservas. New Warehouse Facility

ECOSUR GROUP, LLC is proud to announce the move into its brand new temperature controlled warehouse facility. After months of transition and "punch lists," the move is finally complete. Tamaya, a producer of fruits and grapes from the Limari Valley in Northern Chile, has reached an agreement with Ecosur to import their wines into the US market, focusing specifically on the Southeast. Progress Continues on New Warehouse Facility

The new warehouse is located in the Circle M Industrial Park and conveniently located to Interstate 85. FLD Tempranillo Selected as a PLCB General Listing Wine

ECOSUR and its marketing partner, Laird and Company of NJ, are pleased to announce the recent general listing of Finca La Daniela Tempranillo in the PLCB (Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board) system. Michael Duffy Moves On


Michael Duffy, who has been working with Ecosur Group in an internship capacity covering various roles since October of 2007, will be leaving the company to venture out on his own as of July of this year. The internship, located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was designed to offer experience in running an international wine importer, and was successful in that role. During his brief time Michael wore the hats of Accounts Receivable, Website manager, News Editor, Sales administrator, PR manager and more.

La Puerta Honored at Argentina Wine Awards

La Puerta winery's 2006 Decimo Aniversario Reserva Bonarda was awarded the trophy for best Bonarda at the The Second Annual Argentina Wine Awards the 21st of February. The results came after a week-long series of tastings conducted by well-known wine professionals at the Park Hyatt in Mendoza. 478 wines were tasted in all, but only four received a trophy, marking them the best example for their particular variety or blend.
